Phase Two Kick-Off!

“On December 2, 2011, over 100 youth, community members and City of Seattle Officials gathered to discuss findings from the Community Action Research and Empowerment (CARE) Project—which explores issues, challenges, and opportunities within the Vietnamese community of Seattle.”

Next, the youth team will begin working with community members to draft a strategic action plan that can address issues identified from the research, and will be presented next Spring.

Halloween Fun

While in intense training, the Youth Action Team decides to dress up for Halloween while they work hard to plan the kick-off event for phase 2 of the Vietnamese Community Empowerment Project.
